Background : Died of illness in Victoria, Australia. Posted to the 2/2 Pnrs on the 6 June 1940. Evacuated to 1 AGH on 11 Oct 1941 and thence posted to the HQ Guard Bn, he did not thereafter return to the 2/2 Pnrs.
