Background : Was Victorian Militia Rifles Champion 19?3. Son of Alexander Davidson Connan and Helen Agnes Connan, of Coburg, Victoria. Brother of Major A. N. Connan 8th Field Regiment R. A. A. Brother of VX21210 Lieutenant D. D. Connan 2/4 Field Regiment AIF. He served time working as a P.O.W. on the Death Railway in Thailand. Records indicate that he survived the Rakuyo Maru torpedoing and spent two days afloat before he succumbed to the ocean and drowned.
