Background : Funeral 20/06/2013 (notice in 17/06/2013 Herald Sun newspaper). Father of Elizabeth and Jill. Rex was an original Pioneer but did not go to Java, he may have been at Officer Training in the Middle East when they all left on the Orcades, later returned to Australia and then part of the Reformed Battalion. He is mentioned in the History Book at New Guinea and Tarakan.
