The Angklung is a traditional Indonesian musical instrument made from bamboo that is shaken to produce a chord. The musical sound is made by the bamboo parts striking each other. Each Anklung is tuned by size to produce the correct chord. They are played with one person standing behind a group of hanging angklung or by a group of people holding one angklung each and playing their chord as directed. Photo courtesy of C.
