Overseas 2012 Java. Day 2 - Tue 24/07/2012. Cemetery to airport

Rubbish in the waterways is all too common. Many rivers merge across the huge floodplain straddled by Jakarta. This compounds the problem with the tides washing the rubbish to and fro. A very shallow water table means flooding is a problem and all fresh water must be transported long distances.
